Afaik Uplay doesn't even launch when I open the game via Steam but there is something very odd with the way game is receiving control inputs versus other titles. I've tried using Steam Beta client, reinstalling the game, resetting all controls to default, and every other fix I have managed to find via Google. I thought perhaps if I used 2 PS4 controllers this would remedy it, but no the same problem persists in that the game can't distinguish between the controllers and almost combines the inputs.Īfter messing around with I, again, got it working, but only for a day before the (wired) 360 controller stopped being recognized again. This worked for a while until again any 360 controllers that were connected stopped being recognized. This stopped working for whatever reason, so I started using a 360 and a PS4 controller. It seems to think whatever controller is connected first is a keyboard/mouse and only the D-Pad and Start button are responsive. My Steam Link works fine for other co-op games (have tested with Resident Evil 6) but for some reason, Rayman Legends is very temperamental.Īt first, I managed to get it working with 2 360 controllers, but to do this I had to connect 3 controllers.

We say that Arminator2 is designed as a homage to the Yamaha CS80, it can not be considered to be a faithful emulation of that fantastic instrument but rather it’s aim is to offer patches that hint at the original instruments power. Lead singer Ivan Doroschuk - a man with hat on this night - and his fellow mischief-makers played a bunch of songs that I didn’t recognize and one that I know as well as any tune. Fortunately, all injuries were minor, according to news reports.Īlthough it seems trivial to add, Men Without Hats’ SXSW showcase was solid. Roughly a half-dozen fans reportedly required medical attention, with at least two taken out of the venue on stretchers. I had been standing right under that boom and it’s highly likely I would have been hit as it fell. Not long after I’d grabbed a spot at the second show, a friend texted me from the OMD show saying that the camera boom used during filming of the Scala & Kolacny set had fallen into the crowd, injuring several fans. When the group finished its breathtaking set, I was faced with a decision: Should I stick around Stubb’s to watch the next act, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD), or should I venture down the street to see Men Without Hats? I picked the latter, figuring (incorrectly) that it might be my only chance to check the band off my list. Harrington: Men Without Hats might have saved my life – The Mercury News Close Menu Let’s think for a minute why overdrives were put in cars in the first place. You get the fantasy of what it must feel like downshifting at the end of the straight at LeMans.Īnyway, back to the proper way to do it. This is especially true on the Big Healey, as the 6 cylinder really sounds great at speed. It is also way too cool to kick down from overdrive at 50 or 60 and watch the expression on the faces of other people as the engine revs on the downshift. What was that, warp drive? Like, you still have another gear? How many gears does his car have?!!!! This usually gets very interesting and surprised looks from the other drivers and passengers and really impresses the people who are with you in the car. It is way too cool and impossible to resist the temptation to pull up next to someone at 50 or 60 MPH and, as you shift into overdrive, I would like to express our opinion on the proper method to shift in and out of these overdrive units.įirst let me admit that when I had cars with overdrive, especially Big Healeys, I did not shift the recommended way. We received some spirited responses – use the clutch, don’t use the clutch, etc. Us about the proper way to shift in and out of overdrive on the Laycock deNormanville overdrives as used on the British cars (A, J, LH, D and compact A types). Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag may not be the next step in the franchise, but it's clearly the best rounded. There's a ton of content in Black Flag, but how much of it you enjoy depends solely on how much you like the game's departure from series mechanics.Ī lot of the core gameplay mechanics have been improved but admittedly, not all - in fact, some suffer. Though you'll have to grind a bit to get your character and ship the upgrades you'll want, the adventure and action gameplay here is a thrill, when you're not on the game's ridiculous follow missions. Though there's some pop-ins here and there and the framerate has a few issues (they're rare), Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is easily the best looking game of the franchise. The prices of acoustic guitars are really up their these days. Like I stated $1,500 to maybe $2,000 tops. J-45 would really be my choice but even $2,500 is to high.
